Somali Environmental Conservation Organization

(SECO) is a civil society nonprofit youth-led organization committed to build, nurture restore and preserves the socioeconomic and cultural environment of Somalia and ensuring environmental sustainability through conservation and improvement of livelihoods in the communities. At the mean time our scope is Somalia and later on with a fully established foundation, we shall expand to the rest of the region and possibly in the Continents.

Management Structure

SECO is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of experts in climate science, policy, communication, and advocacy.

We are committed to making a positive impact on the global effort to address climate change and create a more sustainable future for all.

Activities

Our areas of work will be targeting the environment and climate change for young people engagement and awareness raising campaigns. SECCO considers Climate Change as an issue of highest relevance and works in its direction both in a full-fledge manner or as a cross-cutting theme in its other projects.
